My fault not theirs they were so helpful, friendly and gave me the information I needed to make my decision. If I ever need a lawyer again definitely it would be them. I retained The Dodds Law Firm, PLC in early 2025 for my child custody and support case. I initially worked with Michelle Herro, who was knowledgeable and made me feel confident. Unfortunately, she left the firm midway, followed by multiple paralegal changes, creating significant inconsistency that left me uneasy. I was reassigned to Dan Dodds, and the problems started to escalate. Communication was poor: responses were delayed, indirect, and filled with lengthy, off-topic tangents. I often had to redirect him just to get clear answers to my questions. Despite providing all requested documentation promptly, my case did not appear thoroughly reviewed. Mr. Dodds was unaware of key details, including my child support hearing where I explicitly wanted representation. He was absent minded during the hearing, remained silent when the mediator called on him repeatedly, and provided no meaningful advocacy. Most troubling, he proposed imputing a wage on me, resulting in an order for me to pay child support—directly contrary to my goals and best interests. The case dragged on unnecessarily until late 2025, with a disappointing outcome. I do not recommend Dan Dodds or this firm for custody matters. If you’re seeking consistent, focused, and effective representation, look elsewhere.
