Be VERY careful when considering hiring Sam Sorensen. The amount of damage he did while working as a Guardian Ad-Litem for my kids is only now being undone after a year. He refused interviews, updates and was negligent in trying to determine what’s best for the kids. Luckily, as soon as he resigned from the case, things turned around and my kids are safe and happy. Update: Wow. This blew up! I had no idea SO many people have been burned by this guy. The horror stories are everywhere (from other parents as well as a number of family attorneys). I continue to find evidence of Sam acting in extremely bad faith during my time “working” with him, but I got off easy compared to the stories a simple Google search will find.

I’ve been working with AJ Torres. My case has been extremely complicated and he is my third attorney. I feel like I got the best possible resolution to a very complicated situation and I also feel like, for the first time, my attorney really cared about how it turned out for me, rather than just doing a job.
