Brad's and Alex's imposing height is neutralized when they sit and speak to you eye to eye. They take charge and are determined and focused individuals with your case and situation. Their bilingual effectiveness is more than satisfactory. They are friendly, professional, courteous, patient, and thorough in explaining and listening to your case. Meetings are unhurried and not pressured or pushy. You get the feeling that you are the final appointment of the day. The staff is always friendly, smiling, and ready to serve. The place is modestly decorated and always tidy. A coffee maker area in the main waiting room and a cozy, separate entryway toy area. Brad's wall of global tribal masks is a nice conversation piece. At the final appointment of our case, the whole staff congratulated my wife on her permanent residency status. Brad took pictures on her phone and videoed us as we rang an exotic celebratory bell. They each shared that brief, accomplished moment with us cheerfully standing outside their offices. From start to finish, this office has been flawless, from excellent service to meticulous document prep by Alex to timely communication and follow-up. They take you through each process effortlessly and make you feel like a member of their family.

I am grateful for the university of Michigan legal services for referring me to Brad’s office! The whole team was amazing and made a very painful process go seamlessly and smoothly. They were knowledgeable and timely and handled all of our immigration needs and offered extra legal help with other matters too! Highly recommend if you’re looking for representation. I went to an appointment approximately two weeks ago, to be exact on August 7th at this place because I based it on the reviews, but today I will share my experience... because I went with hope... I paid $500 for the consultation, with the option of having a case, that's what they tell you at the reception desk... and since I had already accompanied someone to that place and I heard that what one pays is credited if one decides to stay... I said I'm going to credit it to my case, maybe not for now but maybe for the near future, since I went with the hope of having a case or option, the reason why they charged me $500 instead of $150 was because I had a paper and according to what the lawyer had to review it and I said no problem, well my appointment started at 10:30 and it starts at 10:40, I asked my questions, unfortunately I left with a negative answer and a resounding there are no possibilities for you, etc. He didn't even check my paperwork or anything or use his computer, and I got frustrated when so many things started coming to my mind that I froze..... By the time all this was around 10:55 I left. I didn't ask him the reason for the price, but I spent my time thinking and thinking. I looked into other law firms here in Michigan and they told me that the price was nonsense. Now I'm writing this review because I already called the office telling them to give me an explanation with common sense. I don't want a 100% refund but at least a reasonable charge, but they didn't give me an answer because he's the lawyer who has to see what I can do. I haven't had an answer so I think I'll just stick with the bad experience.....

From the moment we entered the office of Immigration Law PLLC, we were greeted by a professional and courteous staff. I met Attorney Brad Thomson with concerns regarding detention by ICE. He asked me a series of questions which helped me understand the legal reasons for detention and deportation. I left the meeting with a sense of ease because of the advice he provided to equip me in the event that I am detained. He was very effective in his communication, breaking down complex situations in a manner I could understand. I highly recommend Attorney Thomson because I found him to be very professional, knowledgeable and very practical in his approach.

Everyone that works here is extremely nice and respectful. Instantly felt at ease after our first meeting, They work so hard for you and actually want to help you with this process and make it as easy as they can on you.
