I had a fabulous experience with Jess Couser Family Law — as fabulous as you can when going through a divorce. The team was sensitive, courteous, and communicated with me effectively throughout the process. They also offer the support of a divorce coach, Shannon, who made a huge difference in helping me navigate the emotional side of things. Divorce is such a heavy decision, and having Shannon’s guidance was invaluable. I primarily worked with Manda, who was wonderful — clear, responsive, and efficient in her communication. She ensured that tasks that could be handled by the paralegals (Sara and Ellen) were delegated appropriately. I appreciated that the team only reached out as needed or at my request, which helped keep my total costs lower since there were no unnecessary emails or correspondence. Overall, I highly recommend Jess Couser Family Law. They made a very difficult process as smooth and compassionate as possible.

Going through a divorce is one of the most emotional and confusing experiences someone can go through. By the end of mine, I was exhausted and overwhelmed, and I found myself feeling really frustrated with the process and the timelines. When Jess Couser reached out to me personally, it meant more than I expected. Sitting down with her face-to-face, I could see how much she truly cares about her clients and how deeply the firm wants people to feel supported and understood. A lot of what I was upset about came from not fully understanding the legal process or how much of the timing is controlled by the courts, not the attorney. Once Jess took the time to walk me through everything, things finally clicked. It genuinely shifted my perspective and helped me feel so much more grounded and informed. Something that makes this firm incredibly unique is their in-house family law counselor, Shannon. She is warm, steady, and such a calming presence during an incredibly emotional time. Being able to meet with her at no extra cost was an unexpected blessing, and her support made a huge difference for me. If you’re going through a divorce, my heartfelt advice is to check in regularly with your attorney, stay connected to what matters most to you, and ask for a realistic understanding of timelines so you’re not carrying unnecessary fear or confusion. Divorce is hard enough — having clarity and emotional support truly matters. Overall, I can say with honesty that Jess Couser Law is compassionate, capable, and deeply committed to their clients. I’m grateful for the understanding, time, and care they showed me.

If you are in the unfortunate position to need a family lawyer I highly recommend the team at Jess Couser. They were exceptionally professional, organized and caring in their approach. I felt well represented by David Hatch and felt as though he genuinely cared, listened, and thoroughly advocated for me. Additionally, they offer a free co-parenting coach to their clients who was very kind and skilled at providing guiding through the practical decisions regarding navigating a custody case.

The intake process was a bit fearful and emotional for me, and Lucy the client liaison and intake specialist made me feel comfortable, safe, and supported immediately. Everyone I’ve worked with at the firm has immaculate vibes and work hard to do the best for their clients. Special shoutout to Manda Bloxham, truly the best attorney I could ask for. She is honest, compassionate, hard working, and not afraid to tell it like it is, even when it’s hard. Couldn’t recommend this firm more.

I was impressed with the level of professionalism Jesse held himself to in court. He was respectful to all parties yet very persuasive in delivering his arguments. Through the detail and emotion he provided in the argument, you could tell he was invested in getting the best outcome for his client. Jesse is a great asset to have in the courtroom.
