Barry is the worst, he lied and told me he could get me more money out of my divorce than what he did otherwise I would of settled instead of court.. he told me lies in court about what my ex husband was going to jail and it would be 2 years before we could get divorce unless I settled right then and there.. when I reached out to him about garnishing his wages and stuff he wouldn’t respond to me until after 3 or 4 emails just so he could charge me more money! I would never go to him or recommend him to anyone!!

How alarming & discusting. I paid Barry Kaplan to draw up a will in 1992!! I dug out my papers so I could make some changes. Imagine my utter surprise to find the official looking envelope that says "LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT" only open it to find out my will was not ever filed & did not even have ANY signatures or dates on it. You would think a PERSONAL attorney would have had the decency to alert to thier paying client if anything was missing. All these years I thought I had a legal will to provide for my minor children. I do not recommend this "law" firm. Shameful !! Be very careful who you put your trust into.

So I have been dealing with this law office for 5 months I was buying a house here in Marshalltown started back in 2020 of December turns out I lost close to 20 grand and now that I have sold the house stuck waiting on a deed for the house I closed yesterday and there is a check for over 14 grand and Barry hasn't gotten back to me as of yet. I would give zero stars is Google allowed for it.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Barry does not care about anything but getting his money! Did not fight for my family one bit in child custody case! Told them not to worry and not to talk! Refused to refute defaming claims! Stay Away!
