Being recently divorced, my ex husband was being less than cooperative and civil with the rules set in place with my decree. I knew I needed to make changes and I wanted to find an attorney who would truly listen to me and my concerns. I didn’t want to be just another “case” and I needed someone to be my friend and help me navigate through my options. After doing much research, I chose Nonie and her team because of how personable she is, she has such a sweet nature but also knows her stuff and can be intimidating. As I went through the process with Nonie and her team, I was impressed with the patience, understanding, and empathy they showed me. If I felt confused, they guided me along the way to where I was truly able to have confidence in having them by my side. They were very attentive, responsive, and knowledgable in what we could do given the situation and circumstances I was in. My case switched from a divorce modification to a protection order, and when it came down to it, Nonie fought for not only my rights, but my children’s rights alongside the Guardian ad Litem. I never once felt like she didn’t have our best interest in mind, and the way she handled herself during argument in the court before the judge was impeccable. She truly stated my story on my behalf seamlessly, and in the end got the result we were looking for. I can’t thank Nonie and her team enough, they helped me navigate through one of the hardest times in my life, and I will undoubtedly use her again if I ever need anything! Thank you Nonie and Aubrey for fighting for me and my kids!
I am extremely satisfied with this firm’s services. Initially, I hired another firm for my divorce that was a total money dump, unorganized, inefficient and drawn out for months. They never asked for the correct financial documents and I trusted them blindly. I am so glad I switched. Aubrey Staples is amazing ,and very efficient. I am finally divorced after one month of hiring them. A++++!!!!! I cannot praise this firm enough.
Kent, Nonie & Audrey did a great job helping me navigate a difficult divorce. They were very responsive & answered all my questions. They advocated for me and my children. They got the best outcome possible given the circumstances. I felt like they genuinely cared about me & my kids. I had a great experience working with them.
Called about three weeks ago to get the necessary help regarding child’s schedule agreement to see my baby, they took 5,000$ retainer - she had initially set a plan with me but it all changed. She never kept her word. Very bad communication , I always had to keep calling. They ate up $3000 of my dollars without helping me one bit, things didn’t go as planned so they said they couldn’t help me anymore and just kept my money. I do not recommend these people. They will take your money and not help you. I do not recommend them.
Kind, caring, patient, and most important, honest. I met with Nonie for an initial review of my case. She spent close to an hour listening and asking questions, after which she said her firm could help. When discussing costs, she was very upfront that I likely would spend more money in legal fees than I would ever get back from my ex-husband. She walked me through the cost/benefit analysis and I ultimately decided not to spend the money on an attorney. Should anything come up in the future, Law Elevated will be my very first call.
