When we first met with Sierra, it seemed like it would be a good fit; she seemed very knowledgeable and that she would be aggressive for the matter we were dealing with. Her prices (as far as attorney's go) were also reasonable. Once we made it through the mediation process, it was almost like all communication was shut off. There were some lingering issues that weren't resolved and I had tried multiple times to get ahold of her through telephone calls, the client portal they have, as well as texting her assistant. I went months without hearing anything and it was overly frustrating after paying thousands of dollars- I was finally able to get ahold of her after trying for months and was told that she would try to get the documents needed to see what the next steps were (this was in July). Then comes October and I get a notice from the court that she has filed a Motion to Withdraw as Counsel and I was never given an update from her or her assistant. I contacted the office and the office manager wasn't sure what had happened so she contacted Sierra to find out. There wasn't really a solution made other than they could recommend another attorney within their office if I wanted to proceed further and that they weren't sure why she didn't contact me or at least have her assistant reach out. I'm not sure if this is a Sierra issue or a problem with her assistant not relaying messages- It has been super frustrating to pay that much money and not get simple communication or updates and then to just be dropped without an explanation when you were still awaiting answers.

I scheduled an appointment with Sierra Hansen last Tuesday, September 2 for a 15 minute consultation. I had an emergency come up that day and called around noon to let them know that I needed to reschedule. I called and spoke to the receptionist whose name is Elizabeth. I tried calling multiple times last week and was told someone would call me back and I never received a call back. I then went on their website last weekend and filled out the form giving them more information about my case and asking to schedule an appointment. I got a call from Elizabeth earlier this week and scheduled an appointment with Sierra for yesterday, Thursday, September 11. I was told I would receive a call between five and six. I received multiple reminder texts. I took work off. My mom left work early. I had my dad here as well. No one ever called. This is unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. This is time sensitive and they have wasted my time. I am a single mother who is already struggling and desperate for help. Do not seek help from this office. They are extremely disorganized and don’t care about you or your time.

Sierra is a very determined, reasonable, fair, and flexible attorney. If you’re looking for an attorney and have a high conflict case, she is someone you would want to hire! She made it affordable for me as well and worked with me financially and she educated me on the laws and how things work even when I didn’t agree with things, she made it very clear what was in me and my kids best interests. All her helpers in her office are amazing as well and the whole team is amazing to work with. I had an amazing experience at Lone Peak Law. :)

The staff and Sierra answered my questions and made me feel confident in selecting them as my legal representation in my divorce. Our family retained Sierra at Lone Peak Law for a very difficult custody case that originally started in our home state which then moved to Utah. Once our case moved to Utah we started to feel anxiety as we were thousand of miles away from Sierra and her team. We never had to worry once! Sierra called us often and explained everything thoroughly, answered our questions and always had our best interests in mind. She’s is a perfect example of what professionalism looks like and you can tell she is passionate about what she does. We were happy when our case closed but also sad to end our journey with this group. We would highly recommend Lone Peak Law Firm as they’re top notch.
