My divorce was unusual. My ex and I worked together to draft the paperwork and came to agreements on all of the terms then retainer our own attorneys to review the paperwork and file with the court. Matt explained the pros and cons of the terms my ex and I had negotiated and made it clear what I was gaining or losing compared to what would likely happen if the divorce was contentious and went to a judge to decide. He would have made more money if the divorce was contentious, but he didn't push me to fight, just clearly explained the trade offs I was making. He was quick with his responses, pleasant to work with, knowledgeable and was affordable compared to other lawyers.
