Carrie Dyer is everything that a client hopes for in an employment attorney. She is skilled in cutting through the “legalese”. This helped to lessen my stress during a difficult period in my career. She is a straight shooter that told me what I needed to hear, yet with compassion and professionalism. Even though my case was contingency-based, I never felt rushed or like she was squeezing me in between more important cases. Ms. Dyer took the time to listen to me and to ensure that all my questions were answered. Additionally, her fee for service rate is fair and manageable. It was very clear that Ms. Dyer’s priority was to provide excellent legal advice and to represent me in the best possible way. She was not out to drain me to the very last penny, thus making the law more accessible. But what most impressed me about Ms. Dyer was her amazing responsiveness. Unlike other lawyers, she returned my emails within hours, not days or weeks. She would often arrange phone calls to discuss more complicated points, and she was always on time. I hope that I will never need Carrie Dyer’s services again, but I am keeping her contact information, nonetheless.

I filed an ADA discrimination complaint againt my employer with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. I submitted multiple requests for an accomodation to work from home fulltime due to my disabilty for 6 years. The Commission found probable cause after it's investigation (agreed that my employer discriminated against me). It issued an Order to my employer with directives to correct the discrimination and at the same time offered me a Right to Sue. I chose the Right to Sue. The 500 documents I submitted to the Commission were largely responsible for my probable cause finding. It is critical to document discriminatory treatment by your employer if you plan on persuing a remedy. My Worker's Compensation attorney referred me to attorney Mansell. He immediately filed a lawsuit. In turn, my employer called me immediately and granted my request to work from home fulltime permanently. My employer requested mediation to discuss a resolution to my lawsuit. After 3 mediations, I was awarded a six figure settlement. I know my employer wanted to avoid a court trail because attorney Mansell had recently won an ADA case against my employer with another client. Attorney Mansell is exceptional and capable of winning cases against one of the largest employers in Ohio; the State of Ohio. I confidently recommend attorney Mansell to anyone seeking a committed, professional, compassionate, and fiercely capable employment law attorney. I will never forget how he restored my life to normal because of his deeply held belief that all employees have the right to fair and non discriminatory treatment in the work place.

Carrie was excellent! She was very professional and easy to work with. Her follow up was extremely quick and thorough. She worked very hard on my behalf with regard to my employment settlement.
