Maureen was a joy to work with- I truly will miss talking to her. She is calm, knowledgeable, and patient. She advocates for her clients and you can tell she cares deeply about what she does and her clients. She’s a get it done kinda women that does not put up with nonsense. If you want the best of the best, hire Maureen! Highly recommended!!

Kolby represented my ex, she would not file a release with the courts claiming I paid her client child support even though I had signed releases by her client. Had to get the judge involved to clear it up. Offered her client a reasonable offer she turned it down asking for ridiculous, far reaching, out of this world demands and judge eventually saw through her false claims. Very anti-father/anti-male biased representation from dealing with her with my ex's representation. Apparently she unfairly biased against males and attempts to cast father-hood in the worst light possible and I think she truly believes the male sex is wrong regardless. Ruined her clients, my life and my children's lives..... She put her wedding and bachelorette party before clients well being

Shayla and all of her staff are wonderful! I went through a very difficult cross state custody battle. Shayla went out of her way to communicate with my lawyer in Wisconsin to ensure that she was providing legal advice that was in my boys' best interest in both Iowa and Wisconsin. She did an amazing job with the discovery process and was incredibly prepared to represent me in trial. Nobody wants a divorce to go all the way to trial, but if it does, you want someone like Shayla representing you! This divorce could have financially destroyed me, as I earn a substantially higher income than my ex husband. Because of Shayla and with help from my Wisconsin lawyer, my boys and I have a much brighter financial future. Shayla really listened to what I wanted and didn't try to pressure me into decisions. She just wanted what was best for my boys and I. She is very easy to work with, she is intelligent, and is compassionate. Shayla is amazing and made a very difficult time in my life a lot easier! I am forever grateful to her and her staff!

Sophie Wanek was the opposing attorney in my court case and she falsely accused me of recording the hearing, which is a serious accusation. Her conduct not only undermined the judicial process but also raised significant concerns about her professionalism and ethics. McCormally & Cosgrove, PLLC was a great firm to work with. They are easy to talk to, are worth more than you will pay for their services, and they make the process to get what you need so easy! I never felt like I was in a stuffy law firm. Everyone was very personal. When I formed my LLC, I didn't know what paperwork I needed. Shayla took the time to explain more than just the paperwork. She gave me real tips about how to financially set up my business so that I would be successful long term - while staying within the law. I went back to her to secure my consulting services agreement which she made broad enough that I can use it in many different settings. I've also used her for personal matters. I know from many friends that also use Shayla and her firm that she specializes in adoption, fertility, divorce, and other family matters. Not only does she specialize in this area, but she treats the client with such care you instantly feel comfortable in her presence.
