My mother-in-law passed away recently. Jim McKinney handled her Will & Trust for her. My husband is an only child, so he's responsible for closing out her estate. Jim & the office have been absolutely wonderful to work with during this trying time. We really appreciate all that this office has done to help us!

Would love to give less than 1 star. I tried to ask a question to even see if this attorney can help my wife and he just wanted money. ONLY about money here . James Mckinney is about money first( and a lot), your problems second. We live out of state and he only wants money to set up an appointment and didn't care one bit about anything I was saying. He might be the best in the world or the worst, I'll never know because he just dosen't care enough to listen for one minute. Good luck with this guy!!

James McKinnney helped me settle my mother’s estate. He Asked all the right questions and made the process clear and comfortable, and his pleasant manner made for a pleasant experience.

My appoiment was such a disappointment, Jim McKinney was rude and was in a hurry to get me out of his office! Very unprofessional! I had met him at an event to promote the city of Waukee and he had invited me to his law office for a free living will to be drawn up. My maiden name is McKinney and he thought we were distant cousins.But when I was in his office his attitude changed from when I had met him before. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone

Called their office inquiring about setting up a consultation. They then set up a phone consultation in which they NEVER called. Poor customer service.
