I trusted Thomas Mirabile with my immigration case, and he shattered that trust completely. He filed the wrong form and even inserted the forged signature of my deceased ex-husband. My I-485 was filled with biographic mistakes — false criminal answers, mixed-up passport information, and missing names — errors that damaged my credibility with USCIS. He failed to collect all required financial documents from my joint sponsor, which triggered a devastating RFE. During this crisis, he left the country without giving me any prior notice. I was not informed beforehand, and while he was away he ignored my messages, refused to release my file, and when I tried to retrieve it in person, he actually threatened to call security on me. Because of his negligence, I was forced to hire new attorneys, repay USCIS filing fees, and repeat medical exams. My total financial loss caused by his actions was $17,430 — which includes his $4,500 fee and an additional $12,930 I had to spend to repair and re-file my case. I also waited more than six months and tried to resolve this matter privately. I contacted him multiple times requesting a refund of the unearned fee, but he ignored every message and refused to cooperate. This experience caused enormous financial and emotional harm. Please be extremely careful before hiring this attorney.
