Our experience with this firm was extremely disappointing. The secretaries were completely inadequate and lacked any sense of communication or coordination. I reached out to three different secretaries on multiple occasions for simple, non-legal questions—things that clearly fell within their job duties—and each time I was told they either “didn’t know” or that it “wasn’t their job.” The only person in that office who demonstrated any professionalism or integrity was Veronica. She’s the only one who seemed to understand her responsibilities and genuinely tried to help. When we finally decided to terminate our case due to the lack of support, the office continued trying to schedule unnecessary appointments instead of addressing our refund request. I asked for copies of any work completed on our case, but all they could provide were the same documents we had originally submitted to them. The attorney, Omar, refused to take accountability. He blamed his assistant, paralegal, and even his fiancée (who handles finances) for the miscommunication, and ultimately denied our refund by hiding behind a so-called “non-refundable deposit” of $750. However, the retainer agreement clearly states that if either party terminates before completion of work, they reserve the right to charge only for work completed up to that point. No actual work was done on our case—our advance parole process was never started—so there was no justification for keeping the deposit. Despite multiple emails to his staff formally requesting termination and a refund, each one told me that the final decision was up to Omar. He later claimed no one had ever informed him about our refund requests, which is simply not true. Overall, this office demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and ethics. I would strongly caution anyone seeking immigration help to look elsewhere—especially if you value communication, honesty, and transparency.
