Called three times in one day as my suit is time sensitive( also not unusual if you call at 8, 12, and 4:30) Then had the nerve to get on to me because I called too many times apparently even though she promise me the lawyer would call me back today. Sounded super annoyed that I called 3 times for a total of a minute and a half. And because of that, she said they didn't want my case. Never have I seen such unprofessional uppity behavior by a business. I would suggest to go to a competitor.

I hired Christina McConnell, an associate with this law firm to handle a lawsuit against a tenant that was renting my house. The lawsuit was almost $10,000 Most of the expenses had to do with the hardwood floor that was put in seven weeks before the tenant moved in and it was completely damaged My lease explicitly stated that if a lawsuit was brought against the tenant and a judgment was given on the owner‘s behalf, the tenant would be responsible for all attorney fees. The attorney had all of the pictures showing the damage throughout the house. These were provided to her by the property manager She makes a flash drive from the photos, appears in court and there’s nothing to play the flash drive. She has no back up photos so the judge sees none of the damages. Long story short, I am awarded $6500. Probably due to the testament of the floor company and the property manager. She sends me a bill for $3400 and is not going to do the process of the garnishment basically said that she’s done with this case. I live 1200 miles away from where this was taking place I recently got a judgment against me to pay the amount and they included interest rates charges of about $1000. I went on and paid them around $4500. So in all reality, I received $2000 on a $10,000 lawsuit because of an attorney being so utterly unprepared. I would never recommend her. I’m going to add that I would not recommend the law firm. Going to court was pretty cut and dry. The only thing that she had to do was have the tenant served the papers, appear in court , show the photos to the judge, let me , the property manager and the manager of the floor company testify. I should not have had to pay the price for her being so unprepared coming to court. And I cannot even tell you why the tenant wasn’t responsible for her legal fees when it was so explicitly stated in my lease. Coming to court so utterly unprepared and charging me 3400 …. she should have been willing to appeal the case and to have come back prepared. But instead, she tells me that she will turn over anything that she has to a new attorney if I want to appeal the case, but she’s not even going to do the process of the garnishment from the tenant.
