I cannot say enough good things about Lori and Kevin. Going through a divorce is one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced, but they made the process so much more manageable. Lori went above and beyond to ensure both of us felt heard, respected, and supported throughout every step. At one point, we even hired lawyers and thought we needed to move away from mediation. But after seeing how stressful and expensive that route was becoming, we realized just how valuable RI Divorce Mediation truly was. We went back to mediation, and it was the best decision we could have made. Lori helped us navigate difficult conversations with compassion and fairness, always keeping us focused on resolution instead of conflict. What really stood out was her ability to break down complex issues, offer thoughtful solutions, and guide us toward agreements that felt fair to both sides. Lori was great! She made a difficult time in our lives much easier. she was very understanding and sympathetic. Everything went smoothly and it was great to know she took complicated process of filing and getting everything in order off our shoulders. I would recommend RI Divorce Mediation center as an alternative.

In 2022, my ex wife made the appointment with the Divorce Mediation to go over our divorce, which the ex asked for. I didn’t like where the whole mediation was going. I went and spoke with a lawyer for myself concerned that it wasn’t going to improve my situation any. The moment I mentioned this to Lori, I was also met with the scare tactic to avoid any lawyers. That a lawyer would be much more expensive. But, I should have went with my gut in the beginning to hire a lawyer, but instead I wanted to get out of a terrible situation with the ex, who wanted a divorce after I had retired from my career with the city. The mediation was horrible. I ended up paying out from city pension, my differed compensation and to top it off, I was ordered to pay out from home equity on a house I had purchased prior to being married to her! A house that my ex never paid a penny for! Many months later, I had to demand the final divorce decree after an entire year, when the divorce had been finalized almost 7 months prior. A year later and we were still dealing with the quadros. In the end, I was able to keep over $70,000 between my city pension and preferred compensation 457 plan. According to the quadro lawyer they expected that I give up half of everything, when my ex and I were only married for 14 years! This back and forth caused me much aggravation and anguish. I was met with resistance and at times by the lawyers who were only representing my ex in all of this. I felt that I was loosing at every corner with 4 women. My ex, Lori, the lawyer and the quadro lawyer, who were only looking out for the ex wife’s best interest. I paid far more than expected. The ex also works for the state and I probably will never see anything from her pension in my lifetime because she had not retired yet! Bottomline get a lawyer, especially if you are a man to protect all of you assets because they will not.

I have had an amazing experience with Lori she was very caring and positive , what I absolutely loved was how it was about my daughter and her emotional needs and her well being and how we were going to co-parent! My ex husband and I felt very comfortable right from the beginning it was relaxed but professional atmosphere. We definitely would recommend going to RI Divorce Mediation...
