As a man going through a joint custody decision making case things get ugly fast. Kelly and her team handled my case with grace and compassion with the utmost professional service. Hands down divorce is ugly and not every moment feels or appears to be working, but with Kelly and her staff they rose far above the grade on the final show. And, that’s where you could really see Kelly’s skills at work. I highly recommend Kelly for your Divorce needs-Man or Woman. But, from a man’s perspective: Kelly Shaffer should be on the top of your list to interview. Be honest, be straight, be brave and know Kelly and her team have your back and your outcomes will be better than you thought.

I walked into Shaffer Family Law hoping to find an attorney. The front desk receptionist looked at me with complete disdain, like I was out of place, and said “Can I help you?” with a look of disgust on her face. When I explained that I was looking to hire an attorney, she responded with attitude and dismissively said, “Yeah, we don’t take walk-ins.” First impressions matter, and if this is how potential clients are treated when they walk through the door, it says a lot about the culture of the firm. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

I cannot recommend Shaffer Family Law enough or express how very grateful I am to have found Kelly Shaffer and her team. I initiated my divorce filings without a lawyer in the hope the process could be amicable. However, I soon realized just how much I needed a lawyer to protect my interests as soon as I saw what I was facing. On my first call with Kelly, I immediately felt comfortable with her and very much supported. She took the time to listen to the extenuating circumstances and showed genuine kindness in her responses. I did not feel like I was speaking to a lawyer as much as to someone who was clearly interested in helping me. At the time of this writing, I am just wrapping up the divorce process and can say that I could not have asked for more thorough, intelligent, caring and trustworthy lawyer. These comments extend to her entire team as well. Last thing I may say is that you should take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. Circumstances are different in every case and lawyers cannot make miracles happen. I have zero doubts that Kelly and her team will ensure that your best interests will be taken care of within the framework of the law. Additionally what I observed in how the opposing counsel acted just showed how inept some lawyers are and how well prepared and skilled Kelly was in working to ensure my best interests were her priority.

By far, one of the best law teams I have ever worked with, Kelly Shaffer is a caring attorney who is more than ready to stand for what is right and defend her clients. Kelly and her staff are outstanding. Kelly’s team is quick to respond, helpful in every way, and most of all caring about your case. Kelly and Blake always updated us on our case, and listened closely to my husband and I with the requests we had regarding our son during our custody case. In the court room, Kelly is professional, respectful, and very knowledgeable. To say the least, during our trials, Kelly got us and our son every request we wanted with no hesitation from the judge.
