Lawyers like Michelle Matthews are reasons why some good parents get stuck with bad custody agreements. Paid for a consultation with Michelle and it was truly a waste of time and discouraging. She was unprepared, nonchalant, kept looking at her phone the entire time, and advised us to pay more money to the custodial parent (who refused to work) in order to not have to pay more money, which made absolutely no sense. Took our case to another attorney and got a fair and just outcome that Michelle couldn’t or wouldn’t have tried to do. Perhaps the other attorneys at Strom Family are decent but Michelle was not and certainly didn’t seem to care.
