Unfortunately, I found myself in need of these services, and after extensive research, I was impressed by her track record, reviews, and professional background. She fought tirelessly on my behalf and achieved a much better outcome than I had ever expected. Reviewing a business online is not something I usually take the time to do. However, my experience with Tonya Burleson has been nothing short of amazing. Let me first say that I personally interviewed and had both free and charged consults with over a half dozen attorneys in the Birmingham area. My legal needs (divorce with a desire for full legal custody of my minor children) were demanding and unique in scope. However, after lots of interviewing on my part I came to realize that Tonya seemed to know the ins and outs of not just the law, but the specific judges across the State of Alabama in minute detail. Every single interaction with Tonya has been professional, prompt, and exceeded any expectations I could have had. Not only did she give perfect legal advice, but she handled my case with a personal care and consideration I do not think that I could have found elsewhere. In the end I have not only come to have full legal custody of my children, but also was able to come away with child support and many other small wins in my particular case. Tonya has helped me every time I’ve called or retained her. She has helped me obtain custody of my two Sons. I never felt that I was being lead down the wrong path. She was very blunt and honest and that’s what I needed in a Lawyer. She looked out for my best interest & was very thorough in paperwork and details of the situation. She’s the third lawyer I’ve ever used and she’s been the best. I will continue to go back to her if needed again. I recommend her to anyone I speak to who needs help that she can assist with.

I don't know if I can properly articulate just how good of a lawyer Tonya is, but I'll try. She represented me in a custody case that dragged out for almost a year and a half. Today, I won custody of my daughter! Even after putting a HUGE obstacle in her way, Tonya was able to win the best possible outcome for my daughters best interest and facilitated reunification after my baby was kept from me for over a year! This woman is worth every penny and she WILL get results!
