Emily took my custody case and was very non responsive, I would not get updates or calls back. She did not complete motions and then quit and left me hanging. I must now spend money hiring new counsel as she attempts to keep my retainer. Anyone else experience this, file a complaint.

Just do not go to her. Waste of money and most importantly TIME!! She can’t even respond to emails or phone calls. The phone number is not even working anymore.(that says a lot). She went AWOL (completely) it’s been 8 months, EIGHT!! And we still haven’t heard back from her, and we’re still paying her and don’t know anything about our case. WORST LAWYER EVER!

Emily is by far the best family attorney in the state, she went above and beyond the call of duty and helped us get through a very hard time for our family as we strived to bring our daughter into our home full time. She is an absolute joy to work with. She is always very down to earth in a professional manner and understanding! Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to hire an experienced attorney that has a family first mindset. Sadly 5 stars is all google allows cause she’s definitely a 10

I want to say Emily Medders is one of the best lawyers we ever had! She goes above and beyond her call of duty! I have never had a lawyer who acted like they actually cared about the case instead of just getting paid! Her prices are very fair and she is simply the best! Definitely well worth the money! Luv this gal! She rocks!! 🥰❤️

I would recommend Emily to any of my friends looking for a family lawyer. Even though, she joined my case in the “final quarter”, it was very apparent that she cared and was knowledgeable in her area of practice. Emily was much more communicative than my previous lawyers. She was understanding and compassionate, while still being direct and concise when necessary.
