I hired AR Family Law based on their strong reviews, but I am writing this to caution others from making the same mistake I did. I paid a $2,000 retainer and was then charged $500 a month afterward, yet I was left uninformed and unsupported for the majority of my case. Their client portal offered little value, and communication through text was equally ineffective. Communication overall was not simply lacking; it was extremely poor and remained so throughout the entire seven months they represented me. I eventually had to request a meeting with Natasha to address the ongoing lack of communication and professionalism. Although she assured me the issue would be resolved, the same problems resurfaced the very next week. The absence of courtesy, consistency, and responsiveness became a defining pattern of my experience. This firm needs a serious reminder that family law involves real people’s lives and futures, not just accounts to bill on a monthly basis. I acknowledge that my case was complex due to interstate elements and a defendant actively avoiding service. I personally hired multiple private investigators to locate the defendant. Even when I provided the firm with updated information, they failed to act promptly or communicate in a reasonable timeframe. While the firm met the bare minimum of legal requirements, the disregard for time sensitive matters and the overall lack of urgency made the experience unnecessarily stressful and discouraging. I support small and local businesses, but not at the expense of my mental and emotional well being. If possible, I strongly recommend investing a bit more in a firm that will handle your case with the seriousness and communication it deserves.

Two stars because they got the job done overall but honestly, I’m not happy with my experience with AR Family Law in the slightest. I chose them based off all the great reviews but personally had a very bad experience with them. There was absolutely zero communication. They took my upfront fee and told me they would ultimately end up refunding me anything that was left over then I never heard from them again. I attempted to reach them via text and the client portal “which I was told to use” because their phone number only sends you to an Indian based phone service and not the office but would never receive any form of response for weeks on end to the point I had to go directly to the office unannounced just to find out what was even happening with my case. I wasn’t even told who my lawyer was or even met her till the day of my court appearance at which she acted and looked more nervous than I was. Then to top it all off I was charged more than I was told the overall cost would be. Yes they got the job done but the extra expenses and stress of being left completely in the dark was honestly not worth it. I would recommend trying elsewhere.

I didn't like the way they were wanting to handle my case so I asked for a refund. I yet to be able to talk to anyone about it. I called and get transferred and leave voice mail, but no one reaches out to me.

Hired them over 3 days ago and have yet to hear a single word. Their call center is highly unprofessional saying it takes 1 to 2 business weeks to get a response. We asked in the consultation if the work load was a lot as we wanted a company that would communicate. Seems like it is a waste of money to hire a lawyer if said lawyer is unavailable to talk or even simply introduce themselves BUT you best believe after the consultation they had no issues texting to encourage us to pay so they could start helping. Well where is the help because right now its been crickets, a call center that had their personal phones volume up while talking to clients, and a call center that refuses to let you finish talking so a solution can be found. Im not asking you to solve my case in 3 days im asking for some kind of communication in general a simply HI would even work.
