I had a terrible experience with a passport renewal process that was almost six months overdue. I went to the office several times and they always said it was taking a while. I decided to email the consulate and they told me there were no applications under my name. When I went back to the office, it turned out my application had never been submitted. I do not recommend them.

My opinion is: If you're looking for a lawyer to defend you in your immigration process, this is NOT the place! Here, paralegals work, and there's only one supposed lawyer whom you never meet in person. She only calls you when you go to file a complaint multiple times, and all she says is, "Hi, my name is Vasquez." After that, you can only speak with the paralegal. We were with them for months, and they never spoke clearly. They wanted to close the case in court when we told them we didn't want that. We went several times and never received a response or direct attention. We informed them that we were no longer with them and that we didn't want them to represent us. Even so, on the day of the hearing, they appeared before the judge demanding to close the case when we had said we didn't want that and that we were no longer their clients. Luckily, we were there with our new lawyer and were able to prevent it. On the other hand, the "contract" they offer is completely dishonest and unfair. All sections are for their benefit; at no point does the client have any benefit or support whatsoever. It was a terrible experience, and during so many visits, I observed and witnessed several people frustrated by... The same thing happened, and all the money was lost. We lost $2,500, a friend lost $5,000 when her husband was arrested, and worst of all, you lose the opportunity to live legally and honestly in this country. My recommendation: take your time and make sure you choose wisely who you entrust your future to. May my experience help many others avoid going through the same thing.
