ZERO STARS...DONT DO IT...LOOK ELSEWHERE!!! He's horrible and ineffective. I should have known when I showed up at his office and he was in pajama/lounging pants and slippers. But I was hurt and desperate but quickly fired him. He will not talk to you (like he's that busy) all contact was via text with his paralegal. He is also an ambulance chaser. He sent me a heartwarming letter after my accident, saying how he could help and he's there for me blah, blah, so I went with it. He told me where to go and this was my first time with this so I didn't know that he sent me to a chiropractor (that I'm sure he had a deal with) and I was instructed NOT to use my insurance (which I later changed at the advice of a real attorney) I knew something was wrong when the chiropractor's office didn't want me to do that. After several more red flags, (like him racking up hours for really no work) I know this because he was instructing me to do the footwork, I needed to call, fax, email etc...After firing him, he had the nerve to put a lien on my future settlement with a reputable attorney for his hours (laughable)! He should be splitting his fees with me since I did part of his work. But he probably billed for telling me to do the work!!! I swear don't use him and there is probably a statute of limitations on reporting him to the bar, so it's too late for me to file a formal complaint but I wish I had. Actually, I'm going to check on that. Once again BEWARE!!!!!!!! *UPDATE no statute of limitations so I will be doing that today! And if he abused your trust, you should too!!!

WARNING ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ STOP BEFORE YOU GET YOURSELF INTO A HOLE OF DEBT.... THIS ATTORNEY DO NOT CARE ANYTHING BESIDE MONEY 💰💰 THIS ATTORNEY FOR A WORK PERMIT AND A PETITION WAS TRYING TO GET $9,250???? WE HAVE PAID HIM $5,250 AND WHEN MY HUSBAND WORK PERMIT CAME IN HE STATED WE WAS NEGATIVE $4,000. THAT THREW US OFF, WE WAS LIKE HOW??? WE BEEN MAKING OUR MONTHLY PAYMENTS AND OPENING OUR CASE WE PAID $2,000 AND FOR IVAN TO SAY WE WAS NEGATIVE $4,000 UNBELIEVABLE. SO I ASKED FOR ITEMIZED TO SEE WHERE DID OUR MONEY GO TO AND WHY ARE WE NEGATIVE AND OWE MONEY. 98% OF THAT ITEMIZED ARE FOR CALLS, TEXTS, EMAILS, AND EVEN LEAVING A VOICEMAIL THEY WAS CHARGING. THIS WAS NOT EVEN STATED ON OUR CONTRACT WE SIGNED, THAT FOR CONVERSATION WE WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED. SORRY BUT GETTING CHARGED TO GET UPDATES, HAVE QUESTION, GETTING A PHONE CALL TO COLLECT PAYMENT, BUT WORST GET CHARGED FOR LEAVING ME A VOICEMAIL THATS INSANE..... PLEASE PEOPLE ESPECIALLY MY HISPANIC PEOPLE DON'T GET FOOLED WITH AN ATTORNEY LIKE THIS MAN. BECAREFUL AND JUST WALK AWAY AND DON'T FALL FOR HIS WHITE LIE. PRAY AND MAY GOD GUIDE YOU TO THE CORRECT ATTORNEY 🙏

Alex was the attorney for 2 separate immigration cases and he is the best!! Both cases processed as they should, allowing one person to obtain his Work Permit. On my second case I was granted my guardianship and now my young man can begin his process of getting his status! 2 great jobs within a week of each other. Would definetely recommend. Friendly office staff and very responsive compared to other attorneys I've worked with.

It was a process that took years but thankfully alexander was able to help me. One of the cons from the office was that Some of the receptionist were super rude mostly every single time I would call. But Alex was always very professional and helpful. He would always call me back to answer questions or share information about my case. He guided me through the whole process, and explained everything to me. I would definitely recommend Alex Mcatee to anyone with an Immigration case.

This was my first time hiring an attorney. Man, did I luck out. I received a letter from VandenBosch Law offering me their services. I made the phone call and was put in touch with Alex McAtee. Alex walked me through the process, explained what I should expect (from worst case scenario to the ideal outcome). He responded to my emails/questions quickly. I cannot say enough good things about Alex and my experience. The fees were reasonable. Alex made me feel confident and he succeeded in getting me the best outcome possible for my case. Hopefully I won’t be needing an attorney any time soon but if I do it is going to be Alex McAtee and VandenBosch law.
