My experience with her has been nothing short of transformative, especially after facing significant challenges with a previous attorney. Initial Challenges Before meeting Jillian, I had a very negative experience with an immigration attorney from Virginia. This attorney charged me consultation fees every time I needed to discuss my case, which added unnecessary stress and financial burden. Unfortunately, due to her absence on the day of my court hearing, I was removed in absentia. This situation left me feeling hopeless and frustrated. She made it clear that she was there to help me without adding financial strain during such a difficult time. I have no words for how grateful I am of this Law Firm. The attorney definitely overdelivered, she represented a case that was very close to My heart and she treated it as such. And i want to say AURA, their Legal Assistant has been so professional, very attentive and so prompt from day one. I recommend them 1000 %. And the price was by far the lowest. I referred my family to this law firm based on their many positive reviews, but our experience has been deeply disappointing. From the start, the team lacked communication and provided inconsistent status updates over the course of five months. Despite my own three years of experience as a legal assistant and ensuring all necessary details were provided upfront, the process remained disorganized. After expressing concerns about the lack of communication, the attorney handling the case abruptly withdrew representation—leaving my family, who are seeking asylum, with no clear next steps after paying $9,000 in fees. The legal assistant will no longer respond to calls, and the attorney was never accessible. A major issue seems to be inadequate Spanish/English translation training among staff, which contributed to miscommunication. The biggest red flag was the firm’s response: stating they have over 150 cases and cannot focus on all of them at once. This reflects serious staffing, training, and communication failures. It’s heartbreaking to see the immigrant community underserved by those we trust to advocate for them.

I hired Vasquez law firm to help with immigration purposes. initially, I chose them as they were the closest to the court. I had a consultation that lasted a little over 40 minutes with Johanna and different than most places , I could tell she actually looked into the information i submitted before the consultation. She went over my options and told me her recommendation before I even hired them. I’m very thankful I did, I asked SO many questions throughout my process in email, over the phone and in person. They answered all of them with plenty of information and no hesitation. Besides being professional, they also were timely and affordable. They sent a few emails throughout the process, just to let me know where we were at. Overall, IMMENSELY satisfied. Especially with Johanna, who graciously put up with all my questions, was very through, kept me updated and overall encouraging as well as Jillian who was very professional and thorough.
