This law office took our retainer back in 2013 without filing anything. They stopped returning our emails. My brother almost missed his deadline to apply. My mom had to work 3 jobs just to make enough to retain a new lawyer. We went through Breitman Immigration Law Firm. They are truly passionate about helping people and have integrity. It’s truly a disgrace what Baquero law does to other Latinos. I’m writing this review now in hopes that this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

If I could give this a zero star review I would. Karen the assistant took all my Information for an appointment only to not really book and the deposit for the meeting was never taken from my account. My husband has requested to take the day off only for me to notice the deposit was never taken and the assistant never sent a receipt. This is unfortunate and disappointing considering she never called me to let me know they needed to reschedule my appointment due to the lack of organization of the secretary/Assistant. She should be replaced and the office should have better representation that can actually get there work done.

Our case was simple, “ we got married in Mexico and I started the process to bring her to the US” I gave Baquero all she ask for, I was supposed to be a year or so process. we went to the appointment in Juarez and my wife’s visa was denied because Maria forgot to send in my income information. That cost me an extra $5000. The problem is that she doesn’t do any of the processing. She has a bunch of girls doing everything for her and probably have more cases than they can handle!

Ms. Baquero has been our go-to family lawyer for a while. She does good work and is honest. Unfortunately, she may have too many clients now and is not responding to emails and messages left with her secretary. As you can imagine, this is frustrating as the legal process is an expensive one. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but I would go elsewhere if you have the chance.
