I hired Claudia to represent me when I opened a case with Homeland Security after my vehicle was stolen. We came to this Claudia since we heard nothing but high remarks. My mother submitted her AOS paperwork with her and Claudia sat on her case for 10 months. Instead of following up with my mother, who trusted she would be her legal counsel and paperwork Interpreter, instead of coming forward and letting us know she didn’t know how to handle my mothers case, she sat on it for 10 months. Complete negligence. My mother called during these 10 months, she was either out of town or her assistants would say she would get back to her and she never did. Finally, yesterday we called and Claudia came clean. Blaming my mother for her lack of delivery and giving us “answers” after avoiding her case for almost a full year. She took advantage of my mother’s ignorance & situation and of our families time and resources. I don’t understand how a Latina woman can do this to her own people, especially a Single Latina mother. You claim to help your people but embarrassingly neglected a family who came to you in need. Just be honest and come forward with honesty if you don’t know how to handle a case. Peoples livelihood’s are at stake.
