Isner law charged a consultation fee and assured me he had time to put into my case. I put down a retainer which is higher than I should have. He did almost nothing for my case. He wasn't available for MDT meetings, always had an excuse as to why, didn't not return phone calls or emails but charged for them even when I was just asking why he wasn't responding. His staff are very rude and unhelpful. I have asked for my final bill because I fired him at the hearing before the retainer was used up. That's been over 6 months ago and he has not sent it nor issued a refund or replied at all. The 1 paper he did file was incorrect and had to be redone by another lawyer. He had nothing prepared for court and got me absolutely nothing. He also failed to disclose he was under supervision due to an ethics violation. His supervisors happened to be the opposing parties lawyers. That is a big conflict and should have been disclosed. He takes on too many clients to get their money and then does a bad job at representing them because he can't spend the time needed on each case. There is a wealth of public knowledge about him. Just look him up on the state bar site. I have asked nicely for months for him to give me an answer and refund because I did not want to have to take this public. But apparently he feels he has done nothing wrong and doesnt want to rectify the situation so here we are.

I required a lawyer in a family court matter and was given Mr. Isner's name. I attended an initial consultation and was impressed with his attentiveness to my needs. Throughout the long and many continuances of my case, Mr. Isner and his office staff were always professional and assured me that my case was still very important to them. At no time did I feel that I or my case was insignificant. I will, if needed, hire Mr. Isner again.

I paid phil a retainer and he really didn't do much for me and still somehow my retainer was used up. He never showed for meetings. Not sure what he charged me all that money for. Charged for everything and didn't really do much. I dont think he was good enough for the retainer.
