We have had a lengthy custody battle with my ex-husband. We had Ashley Edwards for a case in 2021. Over the last year or so, we had Dan Burton. Our results aside, it was not an overall great experience. First like to say that the team as a whole was positive. - Very professional team - Timely responses to court certifications - Returned calls quickly The positives (Ashley Edwards): - Seemed to show a real genuine concern - Gave solid advice on what she needed. The Negatives (Dan Burton): - Felt like he was disinterested - Had to push to get a motion put in - Was dragging his feet for a relocation - Had to follow up with him when he was given deadlines - Didn’t ask for stuff unless we suggested it We had to send an email to the entire team so we could get some traction on our motion for relocation. Even after, felt like he gave minimal input for us on what we needed or should be gathering so we could have a successful hearing. Ultimately, for the money we spent, we had to do a large portion of the leg work and make our own determinations on what we needed to try to have a successful outcome. If I am paying high prices for an attorney, they should be the one giving me the advice and not have it be the other way around.

I worked with Ashley and she is fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and very punctual with your questions and any inquiries. For each and every question and email, i got an answer very specific and on time. You do not need to worry about any of the next step or any time sensitive issues. People working in this firm on any of the position are very sophisticated and professional. Even office managers, accountants departments, receptionist everyone is doing great job.
