For three years I’ve reached out to this office for help with housing and employment issues after being referred by other agencies, and every time it’s the same story. Calls go straight to voicemail no matter when you call and no one returns them. On the off chance someone actually answers they are extremely unprofessional and rude. When you show up in person you’re told they haven’t hired an attorney for your issue, even though the matter has been pending for years. This isn’t legal aid; it’s a dead end. Stop wasting people’s time and start hiring staff or be honest with the public that you cannot take cases. Nashville families deserve real help, not an empty promise.

I’m not sure who employees the people working for legal aid reception. The receptionist is rude and out of order she doesn’t want to provide assistance and has a nasty attitude. I’ve never had that experience with legal aid an I am very sad that ppl are talked to like that. Tahisha needs to be terminated immediately.

Do not call these people until Tahisha, Talisha or whatever her name is is fired , she doesn’t want to assist people and just cut me off to say they don’t handle my specific case when they absolutely DO!

I called for a question regarding a legal matter. The black woman whom answered was very rude, unprofessional and didn’t care or take interest in a case I need resolved. I left a voicemail message to another facility within the legal aid society. Due to rudeness. Horrible. She needs to be replaced immediately.

Tanisha who answered the phone is probably the absolute rudest person. She cuts you off and says it’s not something they handle - my case covered every single section of what they handle , I’m the victim of domestic violence and was told I’m SOL and there is no one above her and she hung up , called back and she wouldn’t give her name , had an even bigger attitude, kept cutting me off - I’m so glad that I’ve been beaten , Mis treated , my civil rights violated , and more thanks to my ex and now Tanisha feels with her zero legal knowledge that the victim needs to call someone who cares - thanks legal aid for all your help , if I had money I could afford a attorney but since my ex took mine and left me trapped in my house I guess I should have died like he asked then it wouldn’t be a problem - thanks for helping the victims
