Called Lopez Law Group for an issue I was having with my neighbor. I was scheduled a consultation with Sean. Sean was very informative, empathetic and was not pushy at all. He advised about the cost benefit about these types of actions and suggested some self-help remedies and told me if things didn’t resolve I should come back to him for help. He did not rush me to move into legal action, which is a fresh breath of air compared to other attorneys I’ve worked with in the past. Unfortunately, when I couldn’t resolve things with my neighbor, I went back to him and he was able to resolve the issue for me. Can’t recommend them enough.

Paid $150 for a 5-Minute Brush-Off — Unprofessional and Dismissive I paid $150 for what was supposed to be a 30-minute consultation regarding a housing discrimination case. What I got instead was maybe 5–10 minutes of Sean Lopez repeatedly telling me he didn't think I had enough evidence, without actually reviewing my documents or offering any real legal guidance. What Happened: Ignored my texts before the consultation. I texted to confirm my appointment and got no response. I had to call, and that's when the unprofessional behavior started. No communication about delays. When I called to confirm my appointment on the 30th, Ernest was dismissive and short with me. They never told me Sean was running late. Then they tried to reschedule me for the 31st without explanation. Consultation was rushed and dismissive. Sean barely looked at the documents I provided. He kept repeating himself, told me he didn't think discrimination could be proven, and made it clear he wasn't interested in helping. It felt like he had already decided before even hearing my full situation. No follow-up. After the consultation, still no responses to my questions. My Experience: This felt like a scam. I read other reviews after the fact and saw this is a pattern — people paying for consultations, getting brushed off, and never hearing back. They took my $150 and gave me nothing of value in return. As someone dealing with a serious legal matter, I trusted them to at least hear me out. Instead, I was dismissed, talked over, and made to feel like my case didn't matter. That's not how you treat people, and it's definitely not how an attorney should operate. If you're looking for a lawyer who will actually listen, review your case, and give you honest advice — keep looking. Don't waste your time or money here.

I paid for a same-day consultation with Sean Lopez. I have to say I’m very happy to hear that this firm reserves time each day for emergencies. Mr. Lopez showed up to the consultation right on time did not rush me took notes and was very thorough. I left the consultation feeling at peace with his knowledge.

Sean Lopez is the most incompetent attorney I ever met. I provided his office proof of sexual discrimination by an HOA, Riviera Golf Estates, audio recordings, illegal bylaws including a roommate must be a domestic partner, Significant other, or spouse. Platonic relationship is not permitted. This is clearly based on sexual relationships, which violates Federal and Florida state sexual discrimination laws. The incompetent Attorney Sean Lopez told me illegal bylaws supercede Federal and State law. I paid $295 for a consultation, found him totally incompetent, and requested a full refund because of his total lack of knowledge regarding housing discrimination. He refused to refund the $295 consultation fee. I recommend not paying this incompetent attorney a penny. He will tell you you don't have a case, but he just made $295. Gene Lamento

Not a lot of attorneys listen, they just talk. I went to Sean for a very sensitive housing discrimination issue. He really heard me and broke down what it would take to move forward with a successful claim. He reassured me that I may very well have a case, and he didn’t doubt that what I said happened but, he told me the reality of proving these types of cases and the cost involved and ran me through a cost benefit, and what the real outcome would be for the apartment complex. He told me he was happy to help but explains the economic realities. It was hard to hear, but he spoke to me like a human and really let me feel like he had my best interest in mind. He gave me a few ideas on what I could do administratively to put pressure on them without spending a bunch of money, and I followed his advice. while I would’ve liked to have heard otherwise I appreciate that he didn’t try to sell me on a bill of goods just to take my case. I feel like most people would have taken advantage of the fact that I was ready to hire that day. Thank you.
