I met with Kenneth in-person as a potential new client to discuss preparing my taxes, and it was by far the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a CPA. He insisted on an in-person meeting, refusing to meet by phone or Zoom, which required me to drive an hour round trip to his office. When I arrived, he was cold, dismissive, and rude from the start. Prior to the meeting, he had quoted me a specific price for basic tax returns over the phone, which I had noted. In person, he denied ever quoting that amount, insisted the cost was two to three times higher, and raised his voice when I questioned the discrepancy. During our already rescheduled meeting, he left the room to take another client meeting, which was disrespectful and a waste of my time. When reviewing my documents, he aggressively questioned me about one item, and when I couldn’t immediately answer, he began yelling and screaming directly at me. His associate, Indre was in the room, too, and did not speak up to him, and let him continue on with his inappropriate behavior towards me. I was shocked by his yelling, gaslighting, and overall aggressive behavior, especially toward a prospective client. His conduct was hostile, unprofessional, and entirely inappropriate especially for a first meeting. I would not trust Kenneth with my taxes and strongly recommend finding another CPA. This is not someone who should be in a client-facing role.

Working with Indre on getting my taxes filed was great. She has excellent bedside manners, and takes into consideration the individuals unique needs. Not to mention, they were the only firm offering me a great rate given the simplicity of my return. However, I still got five star service. Will definitely be returning here next year!

I had a positive experience working with Indre earlier this year for my taxes. She was responsive and answered all my questions, as this was my first time working with a CPA for my LLC. I appreciated her honesty and diligence, and will definitely be reaching out again for the upcoming tax season.

Ken Sumner has been my accountant for almost 40 years since I first opened my professional practice in Waltham. He is very knowledgeable, accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Now that I am retired he has been able to assist me with retirement tax issues. In the past few years, I have also had the pleasure of meeting and working with Indre Naujokaite. I find her to be equally competent, nice and up to date with tax issues.

My experience with Sumner and Naujokaite was seamless! A friend referred me to Indre Naujokaite for tax season 2022, and she responded promptly and was willing to assist! I felt completely lost with doing taxes on my own, Indre took all that stress away. I just simply provided the documents and some information, and she/the firm took it from there. Indre was quick to respond with any questions she had regarding my documents to get everything filed as soon as possible. And she was willing to answer any questions I had regarding my taxes after they were filed. Thank you Indre for making something daunting and stressful feel very easy! Would absolutely recommend.
