My family used Paugh for an FPO hearing. In her office she said we definitely had a case and would represent. However come court, she talked to the petitioners attorney, in the hallway in front of the petitioner and came back to me with what I thought were dismissal charges. We get in the courtroom, discuss the custody of our child, I agree to those changes and then it’s over. Come to later find out Paugh did not reveal that the charges were not dismissed and said she thought she was just doing what was best for us. She did not let us decide how we wanted to proceed, she did not defend us or stand up for us. She charged $1,000 an hour and did not support her client. So don’t let her fool you too. In her office she says one thing-in court she will not have your back!

Susan helped my son out in a custody situation. She was very professional and on top of his case. If he needed anything or had any questions or concerns, she was a phone call away. I would highly recommend Susan . She is an absolute amazing person. He got full custody of his daughter. Thank you Susan for everything.

Miss Paugh is a great attorney. She helped me with the family court system and my custody case. She was very honest and reasonable with her costs and billing. I would definitely recommend her to others.

Susan failed to be honest when representing my 2yr old daughter. She failed to confess that she heard a clear audio recording of the mother saying that she'd put pills in the father's mouth while sleeping(me being the father). She lied about real evidence and introduced hearsay and this person is supposed to help children. After her job was done and over she went out of her way to try to make me look bad by saying that I didn't pay her but the bill simply wasn't due yet. This malicious act just reflected poorly upon her before the new judge. Probably a good lawyer but ethically flawed to say the least. It's sad that this conduct is acceptable when representing children. I would have appealed but because of people like Susan I had little hope for truth being revealed and justice coming forth.
