Trying to find a law firm that’s confidential, private and trustworthy? Please say YES to The Chidolue law firm. I’m delighted to say they did their thing in less than a year and I’m excited to share it with you. Big thank you to attorney Ayesha and her team for the great service given. I appreciate yall. I booked a consultation with this law firm July of 2024 and spoke with attorney Ayesha. During the consultation she asked me a few close ended questions and then ruled me out as she cannot help me there’s nothing she can do and I have no other options. The consultation was brief, it was cold, and I was left feeling as another number. Fast forward to today I was speaking with a friend of mine about her immigration journey. She had a similar case as me and referred me to an attorney and what do you know it’s this same law firm I spoke with last year. You could imagine how surprised I was to find out someone with a similar situation was able to get assistance but I was turned down. It’s one thing if you simply just don’t want to take my case but to tell me I didn’t qualify for something without asking the proper probing questions is another!!! What’s truly upsetting about this is that I could have been sent my VAWA application in but I believed her when she said I had no options and did nothing. Moving on, what that tells me is she only looks for easy slam dunk cases. If it requires any type of work she will turn you down!! Those close ended questions are just to quickly filter you out. A true, real, and great lawyer will find a way to fight for you. No wonder why all of the reviews and online presence is so good! All I’m saying is BE WARY when spending your hard earned money on a consultation! If your case has layers or complexities most likely she will not take you on as a client! Her main focus is her social media presence.
I retained Chidole Law Firm in October 2024 for a marriage-based immigration petition, which they submitted in December 2024. Initially, I worked with a legal aide who was phenomenal, communicative, thorough, and reassuring. Unfortunately, once she left the firm, the quality of service declined significantly, my new legal aid was something else. I was informed early on that my spouse did not meet the financial threshold to sponsor me and that I would need a joint sponsor. I promptly provided one, and my sponsor submitted all requested documents in a timely manner. Despite this, Chidole Law Firm submitted my packet without including my joint sponsor’s forms. A few weeks later, I received an RFE. At the time, I was extremely anxious and confused, because I had already complied with their request for a sponsor. When the RFE arrived, it confirmed exactly what I feared, USCIS required a joint sponsor because my spouse did not meet the income requirement. When I raised this with the firm, I was told that after recalculating my spouse’s income (apparently using December figures), they decided she met the threshold and therefore chose to omit my sponsor’s documents. This decision was made without consulting me. No call. No email. No discussion. I find this explanation unconvincing and deeply unprofessional. There is no penalty for submitting complete documentation, and including a joint sponsor as a precaution is common practice. Even if my spouse’s income technically crossed the threshold by a minimal amount, that information should have been discussed with me before such a critical decision was made. Had I been consulted, I would have insisted the sponsor documents remain in the packet. That omission resulted in an avoidable RFE, additional delays, and significant emotional stress during an already strained marriage.
