With the benefit of hindsight and experience, I can say without hesitation that David Schachter is an exceptional attorney and truly at the top of his field. I worked with other family law attorneys in Savannah after my divorce, and the difference became very clear, no one fought for me the way David did. David was consistently smart, strategic, and extremely well prepared. He understood the nuances of my case, anticipated issues before they arose, and was highly effective in court. He didn’t just go through the motions; he genuinely advocated for me and made sure my voice was heard. Divorce is emotionally exhausting, and at the time I didn’t fully appreciate just how strong my representation was. Looking back now, I truly regret that I did not continue working with David. After dealing with other attorneys who repeatedly let me down, it has become very clear just how fortunate I was to have had him as counsel. I can also say that his pricing was far more fair and reasonable compared to others, especially considering the level of preparation, strategy, and advocacy he provided. From my consultation to the final hearing, David's entire team made me feel comfortable and at ease. They are professional and very, very knowledgeable in answering every question or concern that I had. No matter what was presented by the other team David always had an answer or was already ahead of what was going on. David was able to get me joint, physical custody of my daughter when everyone said that it was not going to happen. I could not imagine going through such a tough time without having the absolute best lawyer that I could have hired on my side. I consulted with David and he was willing to represent me in such a manner that I was awarded majority custody. As a single father and an active duty solider in Georgia, this is very unusual. With my preparation and documentation to support my case, David was able to present and articulate how inequitable the situation was. While doing what is considered "best interest for the child", David meticulously captured the highlights of the situation each time we went to court and continued to show the Judge the implications in which the parenting situation was highly conflicted and unjust. His closing argument was very perspicacious, direct and compelling to the point that it encapsulated the entire process that unfolded throughout the hearings. If you are in need of an attorney that knows how to represent an individual and show the court a custody situation that seems unbalanced or in order to prevent it from happening, David can get the job done. I highly recommend him to represent anyone that is experiencing a similar situation. He was worth every penny spent and could not have had a better outcome to be able to continue to build and cultivate my relationship with my child.

I hired David Schachter after firing another firm and couldn't be happier. David's ability to pick up my case and quickly get up to speed with the facts are a testament to his ability and professionalism. He was able to navigate through the opposing parties lies and build an incredible case with a strong team that was second to none. It was poetic to watch him dismantle witnesses on the stand. He is truly masterful and marches to the beat of his own drum. Don't get caught on the opposing side of this mastermind. You've been warned.
