If you have a pretty bad traffic violation citation of any sort, go to Ms. Tillman. She has the best price for a traffic Attorny in edgefield and probably in South Carolina. She got me the best outcome before the court date and was very happy about it.

Listen to the bad reviews. Eydie is unorganized, flakey and just bad at her job. My case was dragged out and we wasted thousands of dollars due to her ineptitude. She never fought for me, documents and filings were late or never turned in, she wouldn’t return phone calls, texts, emails and there was no preparation for court dates or a plan made. She had excuses for everything and shifted the blame away from herself and every chance. She said she was proud of me then immediately bragged about how she was finally able to open her own firm after decades of struggle. I finally fired her after 7 months then she gave my new lawyer the run around. She barely communicated and then wanted to send my case files on floppy disks, but those never even showed up! I was so overwhelmed with my case and life situation at the time that I never wanted to think about her again. I should have filed a complaint and forced her to return the money but I hope this review will save someone else the heart ache and stress. She caused more damage to an already awful situation, she set me back in my case. It was due to the high quality of my new lawyer and some luck that I was able to dig out of the hole she put me in. STAY FAR AWAY!

DO NOT hire Tillman as your lawyer. Me and my husband hired her in June of 2025 and fired her in October of 2025. No work had been done in that amount of time. She seems confident and perfect to fight for you on your case but as soon as she gets your money she will cut almost all communication with you, no matter how pressing your case is. She offers a “free” consultation, but when you hire her there is a 350$ fee that’s non-refundable. Essentially your consultation fee. I recorded 23 calls to her office, and none of them were answered.. only 2 was answered bu her receptionist. Not even a call back. My husband and I emailed her continuously for 4/5 months expressing our concern with her level of communication. She blamed us for not providing paperwork for her to continue. Truth was that she was so wrapped up in her own personal drama that she either ignored us or forgot about us. After talking to multiple lawyers to find one who would actually care and attend to our case… we found out that she did not even file an entry into our case. So we paid her 7,500$, signed a contract with her… and she wasn’t our lawyer within the court BECAUSE WE DIDNT HAVE ONE. She offered us 5,000$ as a refund, which honestly was insulting. Again we only received less than 14 emails from her within 4/5 months. It wasn’t until I told her I would file a complaint and a dispute claim with the board that she was more than willing to compromise. Again DO NOT HIRE HER. She does not care about you or your case… just your money and wasting your time. Our new lawyer has filed entry into our case within the court less than 5 hours after hiring them. Proves that it was just is a bad lawyer.

Completely unprofessional. I contacted her office in reference to a deed of distribution. I was advised through email that she would check into completing the paperwork for me with the Edgefield, South Carolina probate court. After over a month of calls to her office, I was never contacted back by her. When I asked her receptionist why she was not calling me back, her response was once I give her the message, I can’t control if she calls you back or not. In a very sarcastic tone, she made this statement to me. I don’t know if I wasn’t isolated incident or not, but I definitely would not recommend this law firm or this lawyer to not even my worst enemy.
