My wife and I engaged Ms. Natalia vander Laan to revise our revocable trust written years ago for Virginia but now for our residence in Nevada. She focused on helping us create the trust we wanted to create. Instead of us providing a listing of accounts, she began with the notion of a “bucket” containing our assets, the distribution of those assets in the bucket to each other and to our beneficiaries. She broke the process into manageable steps. I rarely heard “legalese”. Questions were promptly and patiently answered – even when they seemed to be tangentially related to our goals. We were challenged by the notion of the advanced care directive explored in her questionnaire, but it forced us to see implications of our choices. In addition to her patience and thoroughness, she was easy to work with regards to our schedule and insisted a meeting be postponed for a period until both of us were available (no Zoom calls). We recommend her highly. My wife regards her as the best lawyer for her reliability and dependability.

My wife had the opportunity to work with Natalia and the Vander Laan Law Firm when her Brother passed away without a Will or Trust. Natalia was thoughtful, caring and very thorough in explaining the Probate Process to us.
