I would like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding representation I have received from int he beginning from LaDonna Cousins and then transitioned to Joshua Cooper at Williams Law Group. They have been incredibly helpful in navigating my ongoing family court case involving my son’s father, who has been absent and consistently reluctant to uphold his obligations. Although my case is still ongoing, I am confident that we are moving toward a resolution and the desired outcome. The professionalism, transparency, and advocacy I have experienced give me great peace of mind. The entire team has been exceptional. Sondra Bell has consistently worked with me to ensure my billing is clear and up to date. Aanya Assin has provided timely logistical updates at every stage, making sure I always understand what to expect next. After the extraordinary work of Attorney LaDonna Cousins, Attorney Joshua Cooper, Robin Schilling, Aanya Assin, Judith Miller, and Amber McAdow at The Williams Law Group, I must write a review. Someone I previously dated, who filed an egregious and completely false restraining order against me. After reading numerous outstanding reviews, I decided to take a chance on The Williams Law Group. I contacted the firm and was greeted by Amber She scheduled an intake meeting with Judith. Judith connected me with Attorney LaDonna Cousins, a Super Lawyer, an honor earned by only 2% of attorneys nationwide. With assistance from Robin Schilling and Aanya Assin, Cousins carefully reviewed my case. She did not overwork the case or take advantage of my situation. Her goal was to ensure I could resolve this matter without breaking my bank. An example of the integrity and honor of both Cousins and WLG. Due to scheduling conflict, she introduced me to Atty. Joshua Cooper. Cooper and Cousins, and I met to review the strategy they planned to execute. While some aspects of the plan initially made me nervous, they assured me it would not only work but clearly establish my innocence. With only three days before trial, I placed my full trust in their expertise. On the day of court, I met Attorney Cooper in person for the first time. He arrived fully prepared, organized, and confident. Every piece of evidence I had provided was meticulously ordered and ready for presentation. The judge was extremely detail-oriented and focused solely on verifiable facts. Because of Attorney Cooper’s preparation and the team’s diligence, I appeared far more credible and prepared than the plaintiff. What I assumed would be a two-hour trial turned into an eight-hour trial. Throughout the proceedings, Attorney Cooper took detailed notes and objected whenever improper evidence or procedures arose. Every single objection he raised was sustained by the judge. Without him representing me, the plaintiff would have been allowed to submit improper and prejudicial materials. Attorney Cooper's quick thinking, knowledge of the law, and command of courtroom procedure steadily weakened the opposing case. Attorney Cooper knew exactly what to say, when to say it, how to say it, and what not to say. He also helped keep me calm. Left to my own emotions, I might have jeopardized my case—but his professionalism grounded me throughout the process. When it came time for the verdict, the judge thoroughly reviewed the case and explained her reasoning in great detail. At first, her comments made me nervous, as she acknowledged some points raised by the plaintiff. However, near the end, she praised Attorney Cooper and me for our credibility, preparation, and adherence to the facts. Thanks to The Williams Law Group, Attorney Joshua Cooper, and Attorney LaDonna Cousins, I WON THE CASE. Words cannot adequately express my gratitude for this entire team. While the process was emotionally exhausting, their professionalism, integrity, and expertise gave me the strength and reassurance I needed during one of the most difficult experiences of my life. To anyone reading this: I hope you are never placed in a situation like mine. But if you are, I wholeheartedly and without hesitation recommend The Williams Law Group. The cost is worth it because the consequences of losing are far too great not to have the best legal team by your side. This experience tested me emotionally in ways I never imagined, but The Williams Law Group stood by me every step of the way. They didn’t just defend my case; they restored my peace of mind.
