I had a really positive experience working with Z Family Law earlier this year. I needed support in putting together a Pre-nup before my wedding and had left it pretty last minute (about 6 weeks). Nick and his team helped guide me through the process with clarity and organization; we got everything done on the timeline I needed, with time to spare. Working with Z family law is fine. Not great, not bad. It is expensive. Everything, from emails to scanning a document to them, costs money, which is a little irritating. I was told I would have someone specific to handle my case but I was handled by someone else. While they were fine, their process included a boilerplate document with fill in the blanks. Getting that into affect took close to $4000. After my prenup was done, there were random billings for drafting documents for review that just seemed like they were trying to use up the funds that were left over in my account with them. The process lacks transparency and it seems like they add more work to do to bill you as much as they can.
