I’m currently working with Avenue Law on filing bankruptcy and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!! From the beginning, after speaking with Mr. Schaeffer, I knew this was the office I wanted to use and that I would be in good hands. He was very candid and did not beat around the bush. During my consultation we got right to the point and I could tell he knows his stuff. While he was efficient, he still never made me feel rushed and answered all my questions with a great sense of attention. Once I made my payment and began to work with Barbara, the process just felt even easier. She has been so great with answering all of my questions with confidence and a really positive attitude every time. It feels like I have sent her a million documents, but somehow she’s managing to breeze right through and get everything together. This is why I needed them because I knew I wouldn’t be able to file all that paperwork myself. I must say, for anyone going through bankruptcy like me….Avenue Law should 100% be your first choice.

Complete scam!!!!! Maybe once they were a faithful law firm, but that ship has long sailed. The Dover office is CLOSED. When you call, you will leave a message. Nobody will answer the first time. Once they call you back “Mr. Schaeffer” will call you back very eager and explains everything as though the process will be a breeze, or possibly Barbara (who got very defensive when I asked of her credentials, and immediately transferred me to “Mr.Schaeffer” which went straight to voicemail.) The information that is provided is false for what you will experience once starting the process. Robert Reidhaar, Bob, was the paralegal handling my case after payment was made. Which again was not communicated initially by “Mr. Schaeffer.” Bob’s responses to my emails when asking question was very vague and would not fully answer all questions. To the point I felt like I was harassing the office and had to cc “Mr. Schaeffer” to get more clear information. They ask for an abundance of documents, which after doing further research, is not typically required in my case. You have to pay an additional fee for a course, which again was not communicated in the beginning. This made me then begin looking further into the company. The link to the website from Google is not listed as a safe website, the address listed are two different law firm names. The credit reporting company that they used has history of being a scam as well, and I could go on but won’t for legal purposes. After bringing these few things to the attention of Bob and “Mr.Schaeffer” via email, I was called by Bob. I explained my case and he ensured that I would be called my “Mr.Schaeffer.” Immediately after ending the phone call I was sent an email from Bob that they will be refunding my money via check due to my claims of it being a scam and have yet to be contacted from “Mr. Schaeffer” via phone, only email. (And they still won’t answer my question if it’s a scam or not) He ensured that the check is already in the mail. I will be sure to update this review if I actually receive the check but DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. *Update. I did receive a check. Honestly the entire process that I went through still baffles me, but I am still confident in my review.

Where do I begin with the honorably, humane , detailed and diligent - on a very high level, yet most delightfully humble and supremely professional Real estate Attorney, Anna Boudakova. I recall The first time we spoke, and which she was under very distressful circumstances with her client in the house her client was trying to sell - to my client, who I took on very late in the game. Another thing I recall the Energy that she was projecting with her laughter, and even when she wasn’t laughing, I could almost FEEL her SMILE. And most of all how she exclaimed how she wanted the BUYERS to be happy as well as her client. She genuinely meant it, and I felt it. When I saw the loan for what it was, I felt very strongly I could get it done. What I did not realize at the time, is that it would’ve been an impossibility without the boys and the calming influence of Anna Boudakova (that she had on her client to keep this deal alive because for some reason or another, she believed in me - even though she had many reasons to doubt. Anna is more than just simply “unique.” SHE is unable to be duplicated. She is now become in one transaction, heart of my team here at Reliant Home Funding Inc. I.e. for all New York transactions moving forward, I will be recommending Ana and only Anna Boudakova to represent my clients.

Peter Shaeffer is a good lawyer. He will not nickel and dime you, he’s personable, transparent, and authentic. He’s not out to bankrupt you in legal fees like 99% of the lawyers I’ve encountered. He is super easy to talk to. He tries to limit the amount of time in court which saves you so much money.

Peter Schaeffer has been a champion of his clients' rights for decades. He has not only helped me, he has helped my friends with issues too difficult and intricate for them to manage. Avenue Law has made life better for each person I have sent their way, and for that I am very grateful. I highly recommend the firm for your legal work as well. Thanks so much to the entire crew!
