My family and I hired Ehsan Law to assist my friend who had been taken advantage of during his immigration proceedings which ultimately led to his detention. We worked with attorney Lee Vanderlinden and they were amazing every step of the way. They never made me feel like a burden or a nuisance and trust me, I was constantly reaching out. Lee's team is also incredible. Jamila & Nasreen were extremely knowledgeable and communicated with us every step of the way. At some point, my friend was also facing a deportation to Mexico and Lee's team immediately jumped in and filed the necessary paperwork to get the situation rectified. My friends motion to reopen was approved, and Lee's team was successful in getting him transferred back to WA when he ended up in AZ. Lee and their team made it easy for my friend and my family to place our trust in them, and we never felt like just another fee agreement. They were extremely personable & showed genuine care and concern with my friend. This matters to us on such a deep personal level, and their team demonstrated to us that it felt personal to them too. We are extremely grateful for them and we will be working with Lee and their team again to assist my friend in his next steps.

At Ehsan Law PLLC, a team of dedicated and responsive people provide not only to make the clients happy but put all their best together to provide professional service on time and in a best manner they can. I hired Ehsan Law PLLC for my husband’s immigration case from May to August 2025, based on community referrals. Our experience was extremely disappointing and caused emotional, physical, and financial harm. From the start, intake was handled by Nasrin Stanikzai, who repeatedly suggested strategies that didn’t fit our situation. Important documents we provided were overlooked, and the firm gave incorrect guidance. Written communications were often ignored or contradicted by calls and messages, even though I explicitly requested all communication be in writing( very unprofessional ). We were heavily charged for work that added very little value, including memos and strategy discussions that largely repeated information we had already shared. Representation ended when I asked for a legal contract. As a result, my well-being suffered, I experienced ongoing anxiety, sleep loss, and physical effects from the emotional strain. The trust we placed in this firm was completely broken. We later hired a new attorney, who successfully addressed the challenges my husband faced and properly handled the filings, something this firm failed to do. I filed a formal grievance with the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA), which is currently under committee review. I am aware of others in the community who experienced similar issues. I share this review to urge caution: confirm all agreements, timelines, and fees in writing, track every payment and promise, and if you were treated similarly, you also have the right to file a complaint with the WSBA.
