First off thank you 🙏 I had a worker’s compensation injury and can’t begin to tell you how stressful that process has been. Initially my employer was great. I had 2 injuries that occurred within a day of each other(elbow & back). After being told I might require surgery for my back (L4-L5 herniation) at this point I still had elbow pain, but didn’t have an MRI done yet. They offered me a very low ball settlement (10,000) I told them I would think about it. Three days later received a notice in the mail that they were i’m going to stop my weekly pay in 21 days. I was still restricted by my doc to Sedentary (desk work only) which is lower then light duty. I couldn’t stand and could barely drive and they were trying to kick me off stating (I’m able to work) I called Miller Law Group and told him what was going on and that I had just received a benefits termination letter in the mail. There was about 18 days left before the date of termination when I reached out to Miller. They showed a lot of urgency, had me email my paperwork immediately, and told me dont worry they will take care of it. A week later, I received an email from Monica and Chris. (This would be my legal team) stating that they were able to beat the weekly pay benefits termination, and that they would continue indefinitely. They got to work on making sure I got my MRIs from my elbow and that I went back to physical therapy because they had originally stopped it. Anyway, just to try to speak through I ended up getting elbow surgery to repair a torn off the bone ligament. This was May 2024 and the doctor requested back surgery in June 2024. We did not hear a simple thing from workers comp until September 2024 when I received a letter stating that they scheduled a mediation. Chris reached out to me and asked me if I wanted to settle or if I wanted to do the surgery. I told him that I wanted the surgery and he said all right I’ll handle it. Literally two days later, he called me up to let me know that the mediation was canceled and that they approved my surgery. I ended up having surgery on my back in April 2025. In September 2025, my doctor decided that I reached my next medical recovery and that I would have a permanent disability rating. At this point, Chris asked me if I wanted to settle since we’ve kind of reached the end. I told him yes, and we scheduled it for October 21 2025. The settlement stuff is pretty straightforward because it’s workers comp. They have pretty strict guidelines that they go by so it wasn’t too complicated. There’s a max of 10 years that you can collect Worker’s Comp. benefits. So that’s the most you can get minus the amount of weeks you’ve already been on it, multiplied by what you get paid weekly or biweekly while on workers comp. So we came to an agreement in October, and as of this review, I’ve already received my settlement. Was almost exactly a month from the Mediation. This is where Monica really helped out, she’ll let me know the things I needed to sign. She kept me up-to-date on the process, and how long it would take. She reached out to the accounting department for me. She gave me the tracking information, and kept me up to date on when it would be sent. Plus even though she was off for the holiday she checked to see if it had been sent, and email me to let me know. Thank you guys so much. You guys really did make process smooth. And even though it was a very stressful situation, I always felt confident that they would take care of any issues I had. So that allowed me to stress less about that side of things and focus on getting better and recovering. I’m beyond happy, I was able to get six figures settlement ,and have my elbow and back repaired. I would recommend them to anybody because they fought for me and you’re dealing with insurance companies and lawyers that do this all the time, so you’re at a huge disadvantage . You need somebody that is knowledgeable, knows what they’re doing, and that is going to fight for you. Thank you Monica and Chris
I highly recommended to anyone who is looking for an attorney that says he will go to war for you, and he really does what he says. Then you should really call Atty Brantley. He and his team makes you feel like youre their only client, whether it's a big or small case. To them you are family and you definitely get the feeling like you are!
Extremely grateful for the Miller Law Group. I was in a near-fatal accident in July of 2022. A trusted family friend recommended this firm. He said they were the best. He was right. They clearly explained the claims process and hit the mark every time. Kurt, Stacey, and the team were personable, friendly, patient, sympathetic and gracious. They always had time to answer questions. They gave frequent updates. Incredibly professional. Resolved my claim with a very fair settlement. As our family friend, Brad said, they are “the best.”
Stacy Miller and his law firm are beyond excellent. I never thought I would have an luck with the information I had contacted this law firm about I thought I was making a call for no reason. Stacy and his firm and all his fellow peers have worked tremendously wonderful on my case and I got amazing news on a settlement that I never expected. Stacy and his firm along with his fellow peers know how to get the job done and they make sure to do what is right for their clients. Stacy and his staff know what they are doing they have amazing knowledge and know the law very well. I will be using Stacy Miller Law in the future if I have an other issues I need handled and I will definitely recommend them to my friends who are in need. Thank you for such a great job and thank you for all your hard work.
Sometimes life throws you a big fat curve ball and you need help navigating what to do next. This happened to me at a "big box store." I am literally one of those customers who was shopping in a store and merchandise fell on top of my head, neck and shoulders. Believe me when I say it is literally a "stop life in it's tracks" experience. The one thing I did know, was I needed to find a good attorney immediately. Luckily, I knew really great things about Kurt Dixon at The Miller Law Group and he was my first phone call. Kurt assured me I had a case and was eager to walk me through the entire process. He helped me understand the law and what the store was legally responsible for. We met where the accident occurred and recounted exactly what happened. We talked about what it would be like going to litigation and we talked about mediation. Because I had to have X-rays, MRI's and ultimately surgery and physical therapy it was a long process. However, in the end our hard work paid off and the big box store requested mediation and offered a settlement considered fair. I am so grateful to Kurt and the entire Miller Law Group! They helped me every step of the way and I would encourage whoever is reading this review to give them a call. You will not regret it!
