Craig Shagin put on a legal clinic before the immigration court when he argued and won my brother-in-law's CAT Petition! My brother-in-law was facing deportation with felony convictions and Mr. Shagin was able to stop the deportation, deliver him out of jail, and return him to his family and four minor kids living in the USA. Thank you for saving his life Mr. Shagin! Successful CAT Petitions are no easy standard and what I liked about Craig Shagin was his realistic approach. He initially felt we may need to appeal up to the 3rd Circuit to obtain relief. He took a long-term and methodical approach to winning on the merits and the record. During the trial, although I did not realize it until afterwards, every question he asked of every witness was so deliberate and intentional in satisfying different elements of the case. He is a passionate and brilliant legal advocate for his clients who does not enter the legal arena to lose! In the end, instead of the family having to appeal into the 3rd Circuit and endure 18 more months of federal detention, Craig Shagin put up a passionate and ferocious defense that both moved the judge and was underscored by the facts, law, and a brilliant expert witness that was hired. My H1B application was filed at the last minute and got straight denied after entering lottery system. The attorney Mr. Craig Shagin did not even successfully verified my LCA before sending out the package. And more ridiculously, he was not aware that H1B employers who first time sponsor their employees need to verify EFIN number with DOL, otherwise LCA cannot be approved. If you are seeking legal help about your H1B application from him, rethink. This attorney does not feel the anxiety of this whole application process as much as we internationals do. Such a shame I cannot rate zero.
