My husband is active duty in the military and is regularly stationed abroad. I had a different immigration attorney who helped me obtain my Conditional Resident green card (CR6) in 2023. In January 2025, I wanted to go ahead and apply for my N-400 (According to the USCIS website policy manual: Volume 12 part g chapter 5 and Volume 12 part i chapter 9 (INA 319 b). Regardless of sharing that information with my previous immigration attorney, he did not want to help me. That is when I reached out to Ms. Shirazi in February 2025. She hopped on a call with my husband and I. We explained our situation and shared that information. Ms. Shirazi reviewed the information we shared with her, confirmed that we were eligible under our current circumstances, and immediately said she wanted to help us. Ms. Rivas helped me with my applications. We submitted my N-400 in April of 2025 and my I-751 in June 2025. I had my N-400 interview in November 2025 and passed the test. My I-751 got approved the day after my interview. Now I am waiting to hear back from USCIS regarding my oath ceremony date. Thank you to Ms. Shirazi, Ms. Rivas, and the entire staff for your excellent work. We greatly appreciate the attention and care you all gave us throughout the process.
