This firm handled my divorce matter during an already stressful time. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. A significant portion of my retainer was spent before key strategic issues were researched. For example, the firm suggested seeking reassignment to a different judge in hopes my maintenance claim would be viewed more favorably. After that work was done, I was informed, per their research, that I was not considered a strong maintenance candidate. I also requested that a petition for interim attorney’s fees be filed given the substantial income disparity in my case (approximately $200,000). The firm declined, stating the judge might not grant it. That was a strategic decision I disagreed with and asked them to file. During discovery, after a full Notice to Produce had already been served, I was advised to issue another broad Notice to Produce rather than pursue more targeted enforcement options. Ultimately, I negotiated my settlement directly with my husband. I did not feel that my representation was proactive or cost-conscious, and I left the engagement feeling unsupported. I encourage prospective clients to ask detailed questions about strategy, research, and billing practices before retaining counsel.

Based on their name, I was not sure if Women's Divorce & Family Law Group represents men. They DO and did a fantastic job representing me. They were empathetic, diligent, and effective in representing my rights as a father and prioritizing the best interests of my child as we went through the litigation process. Following the completion of the divorce, they continue to be a superb and reliable resource. I highly recommend this firm.

Let me start off by saying going through court battles is emotionally and financially draining, but I wouldn't have preferred to pick any other legal services other than Women's Divorce & Family Law Group. My case was child custody/child support, so I knew it would not be easy. Cori & Megan represented me throughout the close to 2 years I was with them. Cori maintained constant contact and always updated/reminded me of everything that needed to be done. She was beyond professional and patient with the process, especially dealing with the opposing party. Everything I could have asked for was ultimately awarded thanks to her hard work and dedication to my case. Of course, like any case, don't expect 100% what you want but I can honestly say I am pleased with the end result and can only hope to move forward with my life with a more peace of mind. Any concerns I had throughout preparation or with the opposing party, Cori handled with attentiveness and timeliness. To me, although funds were of concern at times, it is worth it if what you feel you are fighting for is what you know is best. I would definitely recommend this law group to anyone seeking legal services. Thank you again for everything, Cori & Megan.

I am extremely grateful for the help and dedication I received from the Women’s Divorce & Family Law Group, especially Associate Attorney Mikalya Stoveland. After going back and forth through the courts for a long time and receiving no support from the non-custodial parent, I finally saw real progress. Attorney Stoveland was persistent, knowledgeable, and truly advocated for my child’s best interests. She guided me through every step, kept me informed, and never gave up, even when the process was frustrating and exhausting. I had the absolute best experience with Women's Divorce & Family Law Group by Haid and Teich. Mikayla and Josh were my dream team, and I know for certain that I wouldn’t have had this experience anywhere else. They represented me through an extremely complicated, high-conflict divorce. My ex-husband, who was very abusive during the marriage, continued to be abusive throughout this lengthy divorce. While this was extremely stressful, Mikayla and Josh put me at ease every step of the way. They patiently explained the legal process in terms that I understood. Mikayla is an excellent attorney, super organized and thorough; she doesn’t miss anything. She anticipated what would come up in court and was prepared every time with documentation. I am so grateful that I had Mikayla and Josh representing me. I honestly believe there is no way I could’ve come out on the other side of this divorce without them.
